DAZ 3D just released some Big Cats! They look pretty cool. It’s normally $40 bucks for the whole set, but I got it for only $19.58 with my Platinum Club savings and new release discount.

For $20 bucks, you sure get a ton of cats! Seven in all: Cheetah, Jaguar, Leopard, Lion, Puma, Saber Tooth, and Tiger. You also get a ton of morphs and poses.



Selecting the “Big Cat 2” actor drops in a big cat. From there you can add morphs, hair, etc.



Or you can just choose one of the presets:

Cheetah

Jaguar

Leopard

Lion

Puma

Saber Tooth

Tiger

There’s a bunch of poses to choose from; everything from sitting to pouncing.


Let’s drop Victoria in there and see how big they are compared to people. Yup, pretty life-sized!



Very nice. It’s going to be fun having some big cats in my renders!



I don’t know what the deal is with the crazy render times, but this 620x620 render took 4 hours! I’m going to have to play with my settings to speed things up.



Maybe it’s just the lion’s mane, because the tiger and sabertooth only took about 15 minutes



In any case, it looks cool. Maybe even with some cool shaders, they’ll make for some cool statues too.
