I admit it: I'm a total geek. I love electronics, programming, 3D printing, 3D art, and vintage Apple hardware. I'm always juggling half a dozen projects. I also enjoy documenting it all: my successes, my failures, my experiences... and everything geeky along the way.

Geek Extraordinaire. Yeh, I said it.

Another render that sort of came out of nowhere. I forgot I had this Happily Ever After dress for V4. I hate using V4, but with the autofit tool, it fits Victoria 6 no problem. I threw in the Regency Cottage and a DAZ Horse 2.

I gave them a pose, tweaked the camera angle, dropped in some lights, and added a sky dome.

I threw in some grass...

Not bad, but it needs more stuff in the background. I added some plants...

Not too busy, just enough to fill the empty space.

And another render. Not bad at all.

It just needs some bokeh and it’s a wrap.... or is it? I took it into Pixelmator and added some bokeh and a little vignette.

I kind of liked the vintage, classic look. However, I’ve never seen bokeh or lens flair on a 100-year old photo. So it had to go. Instead, I turned the vintage up to 11 by dropping the saturation, adding an old paper overlay, and a little noise.

Much better. This one came out pretty good considering I was just messing around.
