I admit it: I'm a total geek. I love electronics, programming, 3D printing, 3D art, and vintage Apple hardware. I'm always juggling half a dozen projects. I also enjoy documenting it all: my successes, my failures, my experiences... and everything geeky along the way.

Misc Sketches and Incomplete Works

I just wrapped up another render and completed another clock project. After a few busy weeks at work, and a week in Florida, I was excited to get the creative juices flowing again. I just can’t sit still. I always have to work on something, draw something, or make something.

I couldn’t decide if I should revisit the GPS Clock that I started a year ago, or revisit some of my unfinished renders. I have so many ideas and so many unused assets. I just can’t decide what to do.

I figured now was a good time to post a bunch of sketches and incomplete works. Maybe having another look at them will inspire me to finish one of them. Or at minimum, use one of them as the starting point for something completely new.

I admit, some of these are very rough, while some of them got pretty far. Some you might even consider done, but not what I’d call “a finished piece”. Some I gave up on because they ended up being nudity for the sake of nudity. I abandoned some either out of boredom, or I just couldn’t get what was in my head out onto the screen. Sometimes I start something and get a brainstorm right in the middle, ditch what I’m working on, and start something completely new.

Whether you finish something or not, it’s great to play around and experiment. You never know. You might start out with something totally silly, and end up with a complete masterpiece!
