I admit it: I'm a total geek. I love electronics, programming, 3D art, vintage Apple hardware, and whisky. I'm always juggling half a dozen projects. I also enjoy documenting it all: my successes, my failures, my experiences... and everything geeky along the way.

Geek Extraordinaire. Yeh, I said it.

Continuing with the Ceridwen renders, I've created several renders that I haven't quite finished yet. I'm just not sure where I'm going with any of them yet. I can't seem to settle on a pose that I like; or a scene for that matter. I guess it's the 3D-artist's version of writers block.

I really can't decide what I'm doing, but I really like the black skin texture and the Rikki hair. I decided to just keep things simple and do a full-face render and see what happens.

That looks pretty good. You should see the native 4000-pixel wide image!

I did another one, and added a little color to the lights.

That looks pretty cool. Very sci-fi. I took the images into Pixelmator and layered them, then added a space background.

I then added some light leak effects…

That looks really cool, and it looks great on my desktop. What a great render, and it just sort of happened!
