I admit it: I'm a total geek. I love electronics, programming, 3D printing, 3D art, vintage Apple hardware, and whisky. I'm always juggling half a dozen projects. I also enjoy documenting it all: my successes, my failures, my experiences... and everything geeky along the way.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays everyone! What an amazing year it's been! What better way to celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of a new than with bottles and bottles of Scotland's finest!

My wife and I agreed this year to take it easy this Christmas and just buy for the kids. However, she said we should at least give each other a small list so that we had one or two things to open. After all, my sister and parents were joining us for the holidays. We'd probably feel left out if we were the only ones not opening gifts. We agreed to give each other a small list, not expecting to receive even half of it.

Well, we did it again. I bought everything on my wife's list, and she bought me everything on mine.

I asked her, if she buys me anything at all, maybe one single bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue. It would be the most amazing gift. Not only did she pull through, but she also got me:

Highland Park 12
Glenfiddich 15
The Glenlivet Tasting Kit

And just to mix things up, she got me an interesting bottle of El Padrino tequila.

My wife never misses a thing. I mentioned an interest a while back in maybe trying some American whiskies at some point. Not sure if I'd like an entire bottle, she threw a nice sampling of shooters in my stocking:

Jack Daniels
Jim Beam
Knob Creek
Gentlemen Jack

My parent's also threw me a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black. Johnnie Walker Black is my bread, milk, and eggs. You just can't be out of it.

My wife likes her coffee liqueurs, as well as her tequila and rum. So we all made out like bandits! Never before has our "bar" looked so good! I love being able to go over to it and really scratch my head as to what I want to try next!
