Glenfiddich 15-Year

Whisky | Single Malt | SpeysideI loved the
12-year Glenfiddich so much that I was dying to get my hands on a 15-year.
My wife was at the store looking for some wine when I got the call. She asked me, “You liked the Glenfiddich, right?” I told her that it was awesome and that even she liked it. She said it tasted like pears. “Why do you ask?”, I inquired. She told me, “Don’t worry about it!”
When she got home she gave me a kiss and handed me a bag. How awesome is that? A $70 dollar bottle of whisky for no particular reason.
Look at that color! Gotta love those sherry casks!
It’s unmistakably Glenfiddich. It just takes one small sip to see. It’s nice and fruity and sweet like the 12-year, but has some more wood and smoke, toffee and caramel. And do I detect a hint of IRN-BRU? Soooo good!
