I wanted to do one more render with the Yamaki stuff from last year's sale. I don’t really know where I’m going with this one, I just want it to be a hot babe with a sweet ride.
I started with
Victoria 6 HD and the
Yamaki GTX-R.
I thought maybe Victoria on the hood would look sexy; like those cheesy over-the-top car and bike promos.
I gave that a test render just to see how it looked.
Meh. Not much to look at. I decided to thrown in some background elements and lights just to get a better feel.
OK, that’s starting to look like something, but I’m not getting the sense that she’s on top of a sweet looking car. If I move her into the center, the car will be hardly visible.
I decided that she should be front-and-center with the car behind her.
OK, now we’re talking. So it’s not going to be a cheesy car promo after all.
However, I think it’s still a little too dark overall. There needs to be more light on the tower, and maybe switch up the color on the car to something with a little more flare.
One last render, and I think I’ve got it. That looks really good. Sexy girl, sexy car.
The detail looks great. On the native 1600x2000 render, the detail of Victoria in HD is amazing.
Happy with the results, I took the render into Pixelmator for some fun with lens flares and bokeh.
Just for fun, after giving the render the ‘70s look, I made some vintage-looking slides with
CameraBag 2. I scored it in a bundle not too long ago and was looking for a reason to try it out. This is a pretty neat effect that could come in handy one day.
After seeing that landscape slide, I can’t help but think this would look awesome on the desktop too, so I changed the aspect ratio to 16:9 and repositioned my camera.
I then gave it another render and added the after-effects.
And there you have it... Victoria 6 with the Yamaki GTX-R, enjoying a pitstop along the coastline. And yes, Victoria looks awesome in HD on my 27” monitor!
