I’ve had my eye on a Speedmaster for some time now and I’m absolutely thrilled to finally own one. I’ve seen hundreds of Speedmaster pictures online and I can’t overstate how much better this watch looks in person.

I was absolutely blown away when I opened the box. I can't stop looking at it. I also can’t believe how much smaller it looks in real life. I have a few 38mm watches and I expected this 39mm watch to be about the same. However, it wears smaller than you'd think. Not that I'm complaining, I love it. The bracelet is huge and I do need to take a bunch of links out. I had to hop on Amazon and order a tool to push the pins out. I broke my other tool the other day and never replaced it. I'm going to be on pins and needles until that order shows up. I can't wait to size this and finally wear it!





I purchased the off eBay from the Japanese used market. It's mint in the box with all the paperwork and tags. I saved over $1000 off retail. Awesome deal.

Omega etches their logo into the underside of the acrylic. Pretty cool.



The case back looks really cool. (FYI I Photoshopped the serial number off the watch and the warranty card for the blog. It's real.)



My watch collection is looking great.



After a few days, the tool that I needed finally arrived and I was able to successfully size the bracelet. It wears great. I love it.



I wonder what I should add next. Grand Seiko? Rolex?
