20" 3D-Printed Victoria 6 Figurine - Part VI

3D Printing | PaintingI almost finished the
20" Victoria 6 figurine a little over 2 years ago. I was never really happy with the paint job. It wasn't until I competed the two most recent figurines (
here and
here) that I became really good at painting flesh tones. I've been wanting to go back and repaint the figurine for a long time, but there have been many other projects that have taken precedence. It has been sitting on the back burner for a long time. I never bothered to glue the wig on because I knew someday I would want to repaint it.
I was moving some furniture around in my computer room so I had cleared a lot of stuff out of the way to move a book case. In the process I dropped something and it hit the figurine and snapped off the left hand. I figured since I was going to glue the hand back on, I would take the time to finally repaint the figurine and glue the wig on.
I first started by gluing the hand back on and giving it a coat of white spray paint. I masked off a portion of the guns so I wouldn't have to go back and repaint the silver parts.
I then painted the skin a light pink.
Followed by a yellow wash.
I then painted in the reds, blues, greens, and brushed on some brown pastels.
Then, to keep things simple, I just repainted the clothes in a sold black.
I then painted the guns, the face, the base, and added the hair. Not my best work, but it's way better than it was. I'm just glad to see that this one is finally complete.
