I admit it: I'm a total geek. I love electronics, programming, 3D printing, 3D art, and vintage Apple hardware. I'm always juggling half a dozen projects. I also enjoy documenting it all: my successes, my failures, my experiences... and everything geeky along the way.

Geek Extraordinaire. Yeh, I said it.

The Casio Trifecta

I picked up the Casio F91-W on a whim after seeing it in an Urban Gentry video and being reminded of it's horological significance. It's such a classic.

TGV of the Urban Gentry is always going on about the classic Casios we all know and love. I just had to pick them up for myself. (Actually, we were Christmas shopping on Amazon for the kids and I threw them in the cart and told my wife to give them to me for Christmas. I'm so hard to shop for.)

The classic G-SHOCK DW5600E. It retails for $69.95, but I got it on Amazon for $38.99. You can't beat that! This is the ultimate beater watch.

These have been around since 1983. It's crazy I've never owned one in the past.

It wears surprisingly small considering it's a monster at 43mm.

Next up is the CA53W-1 Databank. I always wanted one of these as a kid, but I guess it didn't want to be made fun of for being a nerd. Can you believe you can get a calculator in a watch for $25 bucks? Well, it retails for $25 bucks. You can get them on Amazon for a little under $19 bucks. Unreal.

Classic.

casio_databank_0337

It's just about 35mm wide, which is smaller than most of my watches, but it wears really well.

Ah, the classic Casio lineup. So retro. I feel like a kid again wearing these. So cool.
